We start with the team leader to assess and diagnose the current state, using a data driven approach. In order to progress to higher performance, the leader and team must understand and benchmark the current conditions. Once this basis is set, it is easy to see and mark the team goal(s). The work starts with the team leader and quickly involves the input and current understanding, as well as capabilities, of each member of the team.
It was Peter Drucker who said, "Culture eats Strategy for breakfast." I would add to his great observation that "Engagement fuels performance. Heightened engagement drives higher levels of performance." I work in organizations to provide the ADVANTAGE to help individuals and teams optimize to achieve higher levels of engagement and performance. The #1 job of the CEO/leader is to manage organizational culture as the crucial container and backdrop against which all engagement takes place.

The analysis and diagnosis are guided by a "Strengths-Based Approach" with the goal of understanding the individual and group dynamic against a well-defined and broadly understood objective. We seek to know, understand, and build from the strengths, "what is right with the team", toward the idea and goal of individual and team optimization.
